Botanica Studios Window Display
I had the incredible opportunity to design and paint the summer window display for Botanica Studios, an independent plant shop in Bath. Inspired by the shop’s warm, inviting atmosphere and the enchanting energy of its previous displays, I crafted a piece that captures the magic of the changing season.
At the heart of the design is a tarot-inspired sun, a symbol of vitality, renewal, and brightness—echoing the essence of spring. This time of year is all about the return of the sun, the first bursts of bold blooms, and the world slowly waking up after winter. One of my favorite parts of the season is watching animals shake off the chill and embrace the playful, mischievous spirit of spring. That energy led me to incorporate boxing hares, embodying movement, excitement, and the joyful liveliness of nature coming back to life.
The window mural was completed in a single day using white acrylic paint, adding a crisp, ethereal contrast to the backdrop of the shop, while seamlessly blending with the vibrant, botanical surroundings.
